Deceuninck Re-Launches Kodiak WPC and PVC Product Line
Ply Gem Discontinues Oasis WPC Decking & Railing

Deceuninck North America announced it is re-launching its Kodiak Building Products brand to market WPC- and PVC-based decking, and railing. Deceuninck is in the process of re-branding Oasis to Kodiak. The Kodiak product line will be a conversion of brand names only. The product line will stay intact to keep current distributors from obsolescing any of their current inventories. Deceuninck will start a sales and marketing program for its WPC- and PVC-based decking and railing systems. The product line will also include PVC fencing, porch posts and a PVC based- WPC (Twinson) cladding product. Deceuninck is working to retain the Oasis distribution partners as well as to expand its own distribution network.

Ply Gem Holdings, Inc. (Kearney, MO) recently announced it is discontinuing its Oasis WPC and PVC decking and railing product lines. Alcoa Home Exteriors, purchased by Ply Gem in 2007, partnered with Deceuninck North America (Dayton Technologies) in early 2004 to launch the Oasis Product line. Deceuninck was responsible for production and Alcoa was responsible for Oasis sales and marketing. Deceuninck and Plygem reached a separation agreement in late January. The announcement to the distributors stated that Deceuninck would continue to manufacture the product and continue to market the product under the Kodiak brand name.
